ISTANBUL, ANKARA, HATTUSAS, CAPPADOCIA


























DAY1 - ISTANBUL
Arrival at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, meeting and escort to the hotel. Briefing and welcome cocktail (D).

DAY 2 - ISTANBUL
After breakfast, we drive to the the "Old City" where you wilI visit the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque and St. Sophia. Lunch will be served on the grounds
of Topkapı Palace which is overlooking one of the world's largest natural harbors. Following lunch, we will visit the priceless treasury and delicate porcelains exhibited in Topkapı Palace. The Underground Cistern, storage of 80,000 tons capacity that provided the water of the city in the old days will be our last stop. We will proceed to welcome the evening with dinner at a night-club where the floor-show will include live music, Turkish folk dancing and the belly dancing (B, L, D).

DAY 3 - ISTANBUL
Our tour today will include a visit to the Spice Bazaar, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, Süleymaniye Mosque, St. Chora Museum and the Grand Bazaar (B, L, D).

DAY 4 - ANKARA
Taking morning flight to Ankara. Ankara symbolizes much of the conflict and heroism which lies at the heart of the country's proud heritage. We will visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk who was the founder of Turkish Republic and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, presenting o an engrossing chronicle of the first great civilization of Asia. Overnight in Ankara (B, L, D).

DAY 5 - YOZGAT
From Ankara, we will be driven to the Hittite Heartland, Hattusas. Besides the wealth of relics and monuments which have survived thousands of years, the wonderful views across the Anatolian Plains will give you a flavor of the magic which inspired the Hittites to make their capital here.
Our last stop will be the Alacahöyük, with its still extant sphinx gate, its interesting architectural remains and its

DAY 6 - CAPPADOCIA
From Yozgat, we will be driven to the Cappadocia region. First day, we will visit the village of Avanos, (renowned for its pottery and onyx) Ürgüp and the red-conned monastic complex of Zelve (B,L,D).

 

DAY 7 - CAPPADOCIA (ISTANBUL)
Our day in Cappadocia will be spent exploring the chapels and Byzantine churches all decorated with remarkable frescoes, hidden in actual chimneys of fantastic and bizarre appearance. We will see Üçhisar and Göreme Valley in the morning. The underground city of Kaymaklı will be the last spot of the day.

Transfer to Kayseri Airport for flight to Istanbul (B,L,D).

DAY 8 - ISTANBUL
Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Istanbul Atatürk Airport (B).
